Research - My Pitch And Feedback

The following post contains my initial pitch for the Sunderland culture project, including my feedback and presentation. The pitch includes my initial ideas for my project and what they could like, a first draft of my target audiences and response to potential set backs. I also have included a timeline of my project and my shot ideas.

So, here is a video I did of my pitch. I conducted a focus group and explained my idea and how I plan to make it. I talk them through my PowerPoint and get them to give their opinions on my project. I also asked the question on whether Sunderland enhances or restricts your creativity. I did this to get a better idea of what people think about my idea and whether or not I should change anything. This also improves my presentation skills.

One of my clients really liked my research on Mackem slang, because thought it was relevant to the topic of Sunderland Culture. My clients also gave their opinions on Sunderland as an area, with one of them suggesting that "it's nothing you need to go out of your way to see". The conversation was very interesting, and all 3 clients would green light my product.

If I were to re-do the pitch, I would talk about the resources and equipment I would need to film the documentary, as well as the budget for my documentary. I would also add more depth to my audience profile just to make it better.
