Research - My Summer Ideas For My Project

So, over the summer I have been gathering ideas for my project. I even made a video that has helped inspire the topic of my project. I have interacted with some peers, and grasped a better idea of what I aim to create. I made a PowerPoint on my phone, so I could document my ideas and thoughts. I have also considered the equipment I would need to film this project. I made this on my phone, so the features I had on PowerPoint were limited.





My Video


 I made this video over the summer, and it has really helped me improve my understanding of content creation in the local area. I edited this video with Kinemaster, and I included different editing techniques such as slow-motion, voice overs, text, and more. This video helped me improve my technical skill because I used those techniques.

Research - The History of Sunderland

The history of Sunderland Shipbuilding Town Over the centuries, Sunderland grew as a port, trading coal and salt and was once famously hailed as the "Largest Shipbuilding Town in the World". Ships were built on the Wear from at least 1346 onwards and by the mid-eighteenth century Sunderland was one of the chief shipbuilding towns in the country. Sunderland and the River Wear were one of the most productive shipbuilding regions in the United Kingdom for over two centuries. Sadly the last shipyard closed in 1988, symptomatic of the decline in British shipbuilding in the face of international competition and the need for ever larger ships. The following post contains my initial pitch for the Sunderland culture project, including my feedback and presentation. The pitch includes my initial ideas for my project and what they could like, a first draft of my target audiences and response to potential set backs.
