Content Creation In Sunderland - Product and Feedback

Image
I created my first draft, and I am happy with the way it's looking so far. I believe that I have used a wide variety of camera angles and editing techniques. I will gather feedback that will help with my production and final product.  Feedback I asked for my first wave of feedback on google forms, and I asked a series of questions that will hopefully help me improve upon my first draft. I successfully gathered 11 responses on my survey, this is what they said.  The first question I asked was whether or not my documentary met the brief. Thankfully, all eleven people said yes. this was really reassuring, because I am glad to know that I spent my time effectively. I deliberately spoke about content creation in Sunderland, so my documentary would meet the Sunderland Culture brief. Meeting the brief is also a big part of professional practice, so I am pleased that my audience feel that I have met the brief.  So, I also wanted to know if my product was long enough, especially s...

Post Production Diary

This post contains all of the information that is relative to the post production process. I explain how I made my video, and what editing techniques I used. Kinemaster will be my main editing software for this process, but I will use Splice for some transitions. I like using multiple editing software's because I can utilize their respective features.   29-03-23 Firstly, I opened Kinemaster and started a new project. I then proceeded to import my videos into the software. These were the audio recordings for my intro, so I didn't have to worry about the visuals. I then began cutting my audio in order to cut out any unnecessary parts. I had three separate recordings that I needed to merge. I needed to get rid of the part where I turn my recording on and off. I did this on each recording, so now it sounds like one big recording. This is important because you want your recordings to flow smoothly, if they don't it will make your project sound unprofessional. Once that wa...

Production Diary

This post contains all the relevant information relating to the planning, production and shooting of my documentary. I discuss each day of production and what I did that day, this will help you understand how my project was made. I will show images of what I have done, as well as include some text to help you understand what the image contains. As well as this, I have also included some comparison videos. This helps you grasp a better understanding of why I made a new draft. The three lenses I used for these clips are ultra-wide-angle lens, the standard lens, and the telephoto lens. I mainly used the standard lens, but the others are good for long distance b-roll shots. 14-02-23 In this documentary I plan to narrate over certain parts. My project is a participatory documentary, so I plan to do the narrations myself. These segments will help explain things to the viewers, almost like a David Attenborough program. I took two pictures of my set up. So, firstly I borrowed a Laptop from Pau...
